What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Conal Cochran's Silver Shamrock masks and television commercials transform consumer merchandise into a nationwide supernatural weapon.
Cochran's scheme explicitly combines witchcraft, ancient ritual, factory production, and televised programming.
Bright Halloween masks, jingles, and holiday decorations coexist with murders, curses, and disturbing bodily imagery.
The Silver Shamrock commercial is central to the plan and makes ordinary television viewing an immediate threat.
