What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
John Canyon is an aging independent transporter whose livelihood depends on risky cargo jobs rather than heroic military service.
The film centers its production identity on killer robots, improvised space transport, and deliberately pulpy futuristic technology.
Canyon and his crew are transport entrepreneurs forced to confront deadly robots after accepting suspicious cargo.
The emergency grows out of a routine freight contract and the crew's attempt to survive the consequences of transporting the cargo.
