What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The 1889 Nevada setting and the town's battle with Dirt Dragons merge western conventions with creature-feature humor.
Hiram returns heavily armed, including a huge punt gun, making period weaponry central to the climactic defense.
The residents of Rejection refuse to abandon their town and organize a collective defense against the creatures.
The creatures are established as the ancestors of Graboids and are called Dirt Dragons because the story predates the modern name.
