What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Sundar, a Hindu Brahmin, and Leela, a Christian woman, struggle to reconcile their relationship with their parents' beliefs and expectations.
Both lovers lie to their parents, creating increasingly complicated accounts that eventually collide with reality.
The central couple's future depends on confronting parental resistance rather than simply overcoming private romantic doubts.
The long-form romantic comedy amplifies misunderstandings, revelations, and domestic confrontations through an exuberant presentation.
