What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Rocky is heir to a wealthy business family while Rani comes from a middle-class household, making their relationship a collision between social worlds.
The lovers challenge parental control and conservative expectations while retaining the heightened emotional scale of Hindi family entertainment.
The Gurgaon mansion, contrasting family homes, elaborate costumes, and song-driven staging create a deliberately maximal Bollywood visual register.
The central courtship is shaped by the couple's effort to negotiate and confront each other's families rather than pursue romance in isolation.
