What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The TV-G rating, LEGO format, and comedic treatment of Star Wars characters position the special for children and families.
Poe, Dean, BB-8, Darth Vader, and Ren appear in an original short adventure outside the main Star Wars film narrative.
The heroes face fears and an ancient evil, while the TV-G LEGO presentation keeps the menace playful and accessible.
The production combines Lucasfilm Star Wars iconography with The LEGO Group's deliberately toy-like comic sensibility.
