What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Club Med camp brings together multiple holidaymakers whose romantic and social failures generate the film's comic structure.
The holidaymakers arrive to forget everyday problems and disappointments, but their affairs and rivalries recreate those problems abroad.
Free love, one-night stands, extramarital affairs, and the ladykiller persona are central to the characters' interactions.
Games, competitions, outings, bathing, sunburn, and casual encounters unfold across the communal holiday environment.
