What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
James abruptly believes he is Sundaram, the vanished man whose life is recognized by a village community.
The bus journey and quiet village routines become strange as James's transformation into Sundaram unfolds in broad daylight.
James's sudden shift in identity is presented through behavior and social recognition rather than a definitive explanation.
The villagers' recognition of Sundaram forces James's companions and the household to confront a long-absent past.
