What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The tiny, unemotional crew must navigate human life in New York through the body-shaped spaceship Dave.
Eddie Murphy portrays Dave while the ship’s small crew operates his body from inside, turning group conflict into physical comedy.
The crew searches for the orb that can extract Earth’s ocean salt, making it the engine of the mission and the pursuit.
Josh and Gina’s human warmth challenges the crew’s unemotional intelligence over the course of its Earth mission.
