What critics said
Critics broadly found the sequel meandering and lacking the charm and character focus of its predecessor.
What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Mitch, Phil, and Glen follow Curly's map through the Arizona desert in pursuit of hidden gold.
Mitch must tolerate his irresponsible brother Glen while trying to complete the treasure hunt.
The gold map and hidden treasure drive the plot, a focus specifically noted by critics as displacing the characters.
The protagonists cross the Arizona desert in a lightly parodic cowboy adventure.
