What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Each murder is staged according to Bengali poetry, with verses left beside the victim for investigators to interpret.
Lead detective Abhijit Pakrashi must collaborate with suspended ex-cop Probir Roy Chowdhury despite Probir's bad temperament and fake-encounter history.
The investigation continually redirects suspicion until the unexpected killer is revealed.
Bengali poetry drives the murders and the film's identity is reinforced by its Bengali-language setting, songs, and Kolkata atmosphere.
