What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
JW develops trading software and seeks venture-capital legitimacy, yet prison and former gang ties repeatedly pull him back toward crime.
JW’s business ambitions, prison relationships, gang contacts, and cocaine-smuggling history overlap throughout the story.
The plot presents hope through JW’s software, new investors, and peace with an old enemy before exposing how precarious those prospects are.
JW’s hard-time imprisonment and temporary leave frame the difference between controlled incarceration and the criminal pressures awaiting him outside.
