What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Bushwood's wealthy members and Judge Smails's authority are targeted by Al Czervik's disruptive vulgarity and the caddies' perspective.
Danny's scholarship goal, Ty Webb's eccentricity, Czervik's disruption, Carl's gopher obsession, and the club's internal conflict unfold in parallel.
Carl Spackler's campaign against the gopher turns the manicured golf course into a battlefield of increasingly destructive sabotage.
The film's quotable dialogue, broad slapstick, explosive incidents, and deliberately vulgar performances define its cult-comedy identity.
