What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Vassili Zaitsev and Major König engage in an extended strategic hunt through ruined Stalingrad.
Danilov publicizes Vassili’s kills to give Soviet troops hope and strengthen propaganda.
The Battle of Stalingrad is filtered through Vassili, Danilov, Tanya, and König rather than only strategic overview.
Stalingrad’s destroyed buildings and frozen terrain shape the sniper tactics and atmosphere.
