The narrative stays close to Rangers and Special Forces moving through Mogadishu, emphasizing confusion, gunfire, wounds, and tactical decisions.
Handheld movement, rapid cutting, dust, smoke, and sustained urban firefights create a frenetic sense of combat immersion.
Rangers repeatedly risk themselves to reach downed helicopter crews and recover trapped comrades.
The attempted capture of Somali warlord lieutenants expands into a prolonged rescue battle after two Black Hawk helicopters are destroyed.
