What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Rick's hotel bachelor party repeatedly spins into new disasters as guests and outsiders interfere with the planned festivities.
The film foregrounds booze, adult movies, hookers, expensive hotels, and the decade's permissive stag-night fantasy.
Rick's engagement to Debbie is challenged by her disapproving parents, her former boyfriend, and the fallout from the party.
Hookers arrive at the bride's shower, friends pose as prostitutes, and the hotel gathering involves adult entertainment and sexual misunderstandings.
