What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
D'Artagnan and the Musketeers move through duels, rescues, seductions, and political danger with an irreverent ensemble rhythm.
Richelieu, Rochefort, Milady, the Queen, Buckingham, Constance, and the Musketeers pursue overlapping schemes at the French court.
Milady de Winter independently manipulates D'Artagnan, confronts Athos, works with Rochefort, and pursues a personal agenda.
The film frames Louis XIII's court, Richelieu's power, seduction, and the Musketeers' motto through comic historical satire.
