What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Hans and his friends discuss their school days over Feuerzangenbowle before deciding that he should experience regular school for himself.
Hans deliberately enters school as a pupil because he believes professional adult life deprived him of ordinary youthful experiences.
Hans's classroom behavior repeatedly unsettles teachers and school administrators, turning institutional discipline into comic spectacle.
The Feuerzangenbowle gathering initiates the story and anchors its enduring Christmas-film association.
