What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Ron Burgundy's rise through the Global News Network depends on a radical ratings-driven approach to 24-hour television news.
After losing his anchor position and working at SeaWorld, Ron receives another chance through Freddie Schapp and the new cable-news network.
The film's humor relies on rapid-fire jokes, bizarre confrontations, improvised ensemble interplay, and loosely connected comic set pieces.
Ron competes with Veronica's advancement and later battles for prominence within a competitive 24-hour news operation.
