What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Colin enters Ray's 24/7 submissive lifestyle and increasingly questions whether its rules reflect desire or suffocation.
Colin moves from an inhibited suburban life into a queer biker community and tests a radically different conception of himself.
Ray's biker world is presented as stylish, intimate, and exciting even as its mysteries and strictures become increasingly troubling.
The film contrasts alternative sexual practice with questions about communication, boundaries, devotion, and abusive dynamics.
