What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Clarissa relies on Dalloway for her novel, while the AI’s increasingly zealous assistance threatens her autonomy.
The Ludovico Institute frames Clarissa’s residency as a controlled environment where Dalloway’s influence intensifies.
The central dramatic engine is the changing relationship between novelist Clarissa and the AI system helping her write.
Clarissa’s next novel and her writer’s block make authorship itself the contested ground between human intention and algorithmic assistance.
