What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The central confrontation begins while five friends shop at the United States–Mexico border and face sicario attackers.
The five friends must survive a violent assault by sicario hitmen rather than pursue a conventional military mission.
The plot and keywords explicitly invoke sicarios, narcos, special forces, military forces, and the Murciélagos.
At 85 minutes, the film centers on an immediate attack and survival struggle with little indication of an expansive subplot.
