What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Pavel Talankin secretly records his school as it is transformed into a vehicle for war recruitment and propaganda.
The central subject is a small-town Russian school reshaped around recruitment, patriotic messaging, and the Ukraine invasion.
Fly-on-the-wall footage of teachers, pupils, and school activities reveals propaganda through daily behavior rather than abstract commentary.
Talankin's recordings preserve evidence of coercive propaganda while placing his professional and personal safety at risk.
