What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film combines Thai wartime characters and locations with outlaw mythology, armed confrontations, and a gold-train robbery.
The central plot follows Ko-Wah Thungsong and his crew attempting to rob a train carrying gold while facing an enemy gang and the Japanese army.
The bandit-leader premise, sworn rivalry, and action-comedy classification position the crew's dangerous exploits through an irreverent, swaggering register.
The protagonists must contend simultaneously with a sworn enemy and the Japanese army at the end of World War II.
