What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Chris and Lluis use a 600-kilometer hike to test whether their former closeness can survive years of separation and incompatible priorities.
The Scottish Highlands, solitude, silence, and prolonged walking create the conditions for the friends to confront difficult truths.
Chris remains mentally occupied with work and life at home while Lluis insists on completing the trail and learning to endure the present moment.
The West Highland Way and Cape Wrath Trail function as a prolonged test of identity, friendship, and personal resolve.
