What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Achille buys Kelly, the first woman android with a perfectly human body, making ownership central to their relationship.
Achille is a successful but solitary broker whose cohabitation with Kelly becomes emotionally and socially difficult.
The film builds its comedy around Achille living with a human-bodied android in circumstances that are explicitly anything but simple.
Kelly mysteriously disappears after cohabiting with Achille, shifting the story toward an unresolved mystery involving an inspector.
