What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The story centers on a television studio and uses an explicitly 1980s-coded visual-album presentation.
Cameron responds to being fired by creating Ginger Root Productions rather than returning to the conglomerate system.
The project is structured as a music movie and visual album built around a fictional television company.
The plot foregrounds Cameron's independent company and a small production team of managers, camera, technical, and art-department personnel.
