What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
AJ and his school-aged friends directly team up with teachers to stop the extraterrestrial invasion rather than waiting for adult institutions to solve it.
The middle school, its teachers, classmates, and Principal Klutz form the social and physical center of the alien-invasion plot.
The named Principal Klutz and the combination of teachers, pals, and extraterrestrials signal a broad, youth-oriented comic treatment of danger.
