What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Ishimura's enclosed mining-ship corridors become the primary environment for the spreading infection and violent attacks.
The infected victims and alien monsters are presented through severed limbs, chopped bodies, and torn flesh.
The Red Marker is recovered from Aegis VII and transported aboard the Ishimura, where its influence accompanies the outbreak.
Suicides, murders, infection, fanaticism, and madness spread through the colony and ship population.
