What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Angela Thorne is the daughter of a prison governor and pursues inmates within her father's institution, linking desire to confinement and authority.
The R-rated premise, schoolgirl imagery, blackmail keyword, and inmate pursuit indicate a deliberately provocative exploitation register.
Angela returns from an American finishing school to her father's prison, placing elite transatlantic privilege against an enclosed penal environment.
The British setting, prison-governor family, and early-1970s production context frame the story as regional exploitation melodrama.
