What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Joseph and Yacine must renegotiate who they are after learning that their Israeli and Palestinian identities were assigned through an accidental birth switch.
The two families' reactions to the discovery are shaped by Israeli-Palestinian political hostility and social prejudice.
The Israeli and Palestinian teenage boys face parallel disruptions as they encounter the families and communities to which they were not biologically born.
The film foregrounds parents, sons, family conversations, and gradual emotional reassessment rather than military spectacle or ideological exposition.
