What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The entire crisis unfolds inside Hastings Supermarket after closing, turning a family grocery store into a hostile enclosed environment.
The masked attackers first appear to be robbers or terrorists, then identify themselves as rogue scientists hunting extraterrestrials.
The militants interrogate survivors and attempt to determine which employees or shoppers are alien infiltrators.
Critical reception specifically praised the unexpectedly high-quality effects for a low-budget horror production.
