What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The photographer, monk, and stockbroker occupy distinct narrative strands that converge through an unexpected web of connections.
The Ship of Theseus paradox is dramatized through physical transformation, ideological crisis, organ transplantation, and questions of identity.
Aaliya's loss of photographic intuition, Maitreya's illness, and the stolen-kidney investigation all interrogate continuity of self.
The celebrated photography, lush compositions, and attentive observation of bodies and environments support the film's meditative inquiry.
