What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Anna returns from psychiatric treatment with missing memories, nightmares, and seemingly supernatural encounters that complicate her investigation.
Anna and Alex suspect their mother’s former nurse and new stepmother Rachel of murdering their mother and taking control of the household.
The sisters investigate the mother’s death from their father’s isolated mansion near the coast, including the burned boathouse.
The unexplained boathouse fire and Anna’s inability to remember its aftermath drive the investigation and suspense.
