What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Howard Stevens leaves Jason twelve demanding tasks, turning the will into the film's central narrative engine.
Jason's trust-fund lifestyle is challenged by work, poverty, family obligations, and service to others.
Red Stevens continues shaping Jason's values after death through recorded instructions and staged gifts.
Emily's leukemia, Alexia's single motherhood, and Jason's relationship with Red frame the lessons as emotionally charged moral instruction.
