The Nordheim family encounters traditional Norwegian barn elves after relocating from the United States to Norway.
The holiday setting, barn elves, snow, and escalating attacks turn Christmas customs into a source of chaotic horror.
The production is noted for classic shooting techniques and the use of real effects instead of extensive green-screen animation.
