What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The woman, Sameer, and Qureshi are trapped in and around the house while the storm and repeated doorbell visits intensify the enclosure.
Sameer claims to be seeking Mr Malhotra, Qureshi claims to be an inspector, and the woman suspects either man may be the killer.
The stormy night, televised killer warning, unexplained noises, and repeated ringing create an atmosphere of escalating suspicion.
The critical reception explicitly identifies the film as an Ittefaq-style songless suspense thriller within Hindi cinema.
