What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The story returns to characters from Dudes after twenty years and places them alongside a new generation of kids.
The returning characters are presented as having changed little, with lives that remain almost the same after two decades.
The new generation trying to make it through provides a parallel to the established characters' continuing lives.
The Serbian language, Serbian production context, returning local characters, and sequel relationship place the film within post-Yugoslav popular culture.
