What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Martin, John, and Ben are childhood friends living together while feeling dissatisfied with their direction, and their shared ineptitude powers the humor.
The rumored gold treasure beneath Foggy Mountain gives the friends a concrete objective and functions as the story's central pursuit.
The film combines a buried-treasure expedition with quirky rural characters, exaggerated action, and intentionally offbeat jokes.
The three friends begin their quest after realizing they dislike their life trajectory and want to prove themselves.
