What critics said
Critics broadly regarded the sequel as a crude, uneven, and largely unsuccessful extension of its predecessor's raunchy queer comedy.
What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Nico's flamboyance, the Gays Gone Wild contest, drag-related imagery, and deliberately outrageous sexual comedy define the film's register.
Nico feels alienated among masculine men at the resort, while the friends confront competing expectations about gay identity and sexual behavior.
Griff and Jarod must decide whether to open their relationship for the contest and establish limits for that openness.
Andy, Griff and Jarod, and Nico each face distinct relationship or belonging dilemmas during the same resort competition.
