The Glass House
Following the tragic loss of their parents, teenagers Ruby and Rhett find their world upended by a relocation to a strikingly modern, isolated glass house overlooking the Pacific in Malibu, now under the guardianship of the seemingly benevolent Glasses. What begins as a transition into a privileged new life slowly unravels into a chilling psychological drama as subtle manipulations and the Glass family’s unnerving control begin to isolate the siblings. The film doesn’t rely on jump scares, instead fostering a persistent, claustrophobic tension through its stark, architectural setting and the unsettling performances, creating a mood of quiet paranoia as Ruby grapples with a growing suspicion that their idyllic surroundings conceal a darker, more controlling agenda. The film explores the fragile nature of trust, the vulnerabilities of grief, and the distortion of memory when confronted with calculated kindness.
