Sea Fever
A claustrophobic and unsettling eco-horror unfolds aboard a weathered Irish trawler when a bizarre bioluminescent organism is caught in their nets, slowly contaminating the ship’s water supply and driving the crew to paranoia and visceral dread. Unlike typical monster movies, *Sea Fever* trades jump scares for a creeping, psychological unraveling fueled by isolation and the mounting physical toll of an unknown infection. The film isn’t concerned with explaining the creature’s origins, but rather with exploring the primal fear of the unseen, the fragility of the human body, and the consequences of disrupting the natural world through a lens of mounting desperation and the desperate fight for survival. The atmosphere is thick with the scent of salt and decay, creating a uniquely disturbing and viscerally uncomfortable experience as reality bends and the boundaries between sanity and madness blur for those trapped at sea.
