In a visually extravagant space opera, Jupiter, a Russian immigrant cleaning toilets on Earth, discovers she is a genetically engineered heiress to intergalactic nobility. Abruptly thrust into a cosmic power struggle, she's pursued by ruthless forces and protected by a genetically augmented warrior, Caine, whose loyalties become increasingly complex as he navigates a forbidden attraction. Unlike conventional hero narratives, the film subverts expectations by presenting a protagonist whose agency unfolds through accepting, rather than striving for, her inherited destiny, whilst exploring the darkly satirical themes of genetic determinism and the commodification of life itself.
