F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers

Gorya, a girl from a poor family, is happy to enter an elite high school. However, things take a turn when she is bullied by a group of rich spoiled boys called F4.

F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021-2022) is a Thai television school romance series created for GMM 25 and GMMTV, a Thai remake-style take on a well-known teen romance tradition. Gorya (Tontawan Tantivejakul), a girl from a poor family, enters an elite high school and is soon targeted by a clique of rich, spoiled boys called F4, led by Thyme (Vachirawit Chivaaree), Ren (Jirawat Sutivanichsak), Kavin (Metawin Opas-iamkajorn) and M.J. (Hirunkit Changkham). The engine of the show is the uneasy push and pull between Gorya's stubborn pride and the group's cruel games, with every episode built around new schoolyard clashes, cyber bullying and social rivalries that keep the hostility simmering. Across a single season of sixteen one-hour episodes, the tension gradually softens into something more tender, while class divides and friendship keep the mood lively. The tone is breezy and romantic, with comic exaggeration balancing the sharper edges of bullying. Set in a contemporary Thai high school, it is a youthful, glossy drama. Fans of Boys Over Flowers, Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango will find resonance in its rich-poor romance and teen rivalry.

Audiences rate the series positively, praising its romance and the chemistry between its leads while treating it as light teen entertainment.
