Club Hooligans

After vicious infighting, two brothers are expelled of their beloved team’s gang. Alone, without money or political protection, they start a war that puts their brotherhood to the test.

Club Hooligans (2023-present) is a Uruguayan Spanish-language crime drama series created by Jesús Braceras for Prime Video. Two brothers, César (Gastón Pauls) and Polaco (Matías Mayer), are expelled from the beloved football club gang they grew up in after vicious infighting. Without money or political protection, they launch a war against rival factions that tests the loyalty binding them together. Alongside them, Tío (Gustavo Garzón) and Celeste (Liz Solari) bring the criminal and personal entanglements of the club's underworld into sharper focus. Each episode is built from street confrontations, shifting alliances, and the political machinery of a football fan group that trades in favors and fear. The show runs as a serialized, continuing story across two seasons of eight episodes each, with tense, gritty, and morally murky tones. Its look is raw and atmospheric, drawing on the grit of Latin American crime dramas. Fans of Gomorrah, Peaky Blinders and Romper Stomper will find resonance in its brotherhood under pressure and its violent, politically charged underworld.
