Sequestered

A jury is sequestered in a hotel while deliberating a court case with massive implications.

Sequestered (2014) is an American limited series created by Aaron Tracy and released on Crackle. Set in the present day, it follows a jury locked inside a hotel while deliberating a murder trial whose outcome carries massive implications. Mustafa Elzein plays Stone, Summer Glau plays Anna, and Patrick Warburton plays Governor Bennett, a trio whose alliances and suspicions shape the group as the jurors trade theories about the defendant and the evidence. The engine of the show is the struggle to reach a verdict while outside pressures seep through the walls, with each episode built from heated debates in the jury room, private conversations in hotel corridors, and quiet doubts that threaten to split the panel. Its single season of twelve half-hour episodes moves with the tight rhythm of a courtroom thriller, keeping the focus on the closed set of characters and their shifting loyalties. Fans of 12 Angry Men and The Mist will find resonance in its claustrophobic atmosphere, mounting paranoia, and the moral weight of a decision made under siege. The tone is tense and intimate, a slow burn of suspicion that rewards viewers who enjoy group dynamics and courtroom stakes.
