Mr. Pickles

The Goodman family lives with their lovable pet dog, Mr. Pickles, a deviant border collie with a secret satanic streak.

Mr. Pickles (2014-2019) is an American adult animated comedy series created by Will Carsola and Dave Stewart for Adult Swim. Set in a small town, it follows the Goodman family, whose lovable pet border collie, Mr. Pickles, hides a deviant satanic streak that the rest of the household never suspects. Dave Stewart voices the title dog along with Floyd and Linda, while Brooke Shields voices Mrs. Goodman, Jay Johnston voices Mr. Goodman, and Kaitlyn Robrock voices Tommy. The engine of the show is the gap between the wholesome family sitcom surface and the chaos the dog secretly engineers, with each fifteen minute episode built from gleeful gore, crude cartoon mayhem and sharp satirical jabs at suburban life. Across four seasons and thirty-one episodes, the tone stays irreverent, deadpan and transgressive, with a heavy dose of death metal flavored absurdity. Fans of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy and Rick and Morty will find resonance in its appetite for offbeat, boundary-pushing humor and cartoon bloodshed.

Viewers broadly enjoy its outrageous, gleefully profane adult animation and dark absurd humor, with audience ratings rising across seasons.
