El Le'ba

The Game is a slapstick comedy following two childhood friends, Waseem and Mazo, who along with their families are unwittingly pulled into a game of pranks and challenges orchestrated by a mysterious stranger. Starring fan favourites Hesham Maged, Chico, Moataz El Tony, and Bayoumi Fouad, the series delivers non-stop laughs as the rivalry escalates across five seasons of outrageous schemes, family chaos, and hilarious confrontations.

The Game (2020-present) is an Egyptian slapstick comedy series created for MBC Shahid and produced in Arabic. Two childhood friends, Waseem (Shiko) and Mazo (Hesham Maged), find their lives upended along with their families when a mysterious stranger draws them into a game of pranks and dares. Mai Kassab, Merna Gamel and Bayoumi Fouad round out the principal ensemble, with the wives, neighbors and rivals each drawn into the escalating schemes. The engine of the show is the rivalry itself: every new challenge pushes the two friends and their households into a bigger confrontation, and each episode is built around a fresh prank, a domestic mishap or a hilarious showdown between families. Across five seasons of roughly thirty episodes each, the structure stays rooted in a single running storyline, so the comedy builds on earlier schemes and grudges. The tone is breezy, loud and warm, with family chaos and affectionate sparring providing a steady current of laughter. Set in a contemporary Egyptian neighborhood, the series sits in a long tradition of Arabic family comedy. Fans of Home Alone, Everybody Loves Raymond and Malcolm in the Middle will find a similar appetite for escalating household mayhem and sharp comic timing.
