Love Is in the Air (2020-2021) is a Turkish romantic comedy drama series created by Ayse Uber Kutlu for FOX. Eda Yildiz (Hande Erçel), a young woman whose hopes rest on her education, sees her international scholarship cancelled by the arrogant Serkan Bolat (Kerem Bürsin). He offers to restore it if she pretends to be his fiance for two months, and the bargain drags her into his family, his workplace and a series of escalating deceptions. Supporting roles include Evrim Doğan as Ayfer Yildiz and Anil İlter as Engin Sezgin, whose everyday lives keep pulling the leads into the wider world. Across fifty-two episodes over two seasons, the engine is the push and pull between a contract and a growing attraction, with each episode built from small humiliations, reluctant alliances and romantic set pieces. Set in contemporary Istanbul, the series is a telenovela-inflected romcom with a heavy emotional register, warm family melodrama and sharp verbal sparring. Its tone moves between breezy and wistful, and its themes of pride, class difference and the cost of honesty give the romance weight. Fans of Kara Sevda, The Proposal and You've Got Mail will find resonance in its blend of banter, longing and soapy twists.

Audiences broadly rate the Turkish romantic comedy highly for its chemistry between the leads and its engaging pretend-engagement premise.
