What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Jan's deep depression leaves Robert and Max unable to rely on him, making his recovery central to their journey.
Jan's ruined book release devastates him, while the book itself becomes the object Robert and Max seek to retrieve.
Robert and Max need Jan to function, then travel across Sweden to restore both the book and their friend.
The premise pairs amused comic framing with depression, failed ambition, and a serious attempt to help Jan regain his will to live.
